The title track is a ton of fun and it songs like you would expect as if you were at a party during the end of days. The thing about most of their songs on this album that I felt was a bit lacking in previous albums is that they tell a vivid story. Most of the time it's macabre and over the top but it's interesting and expressive. The passion and the spirit are felt on this album as if they're a band renewed which in a lot of ways they are. If I have any criticism it's not much, but I lament the lack of surf rock influence, which while there on some songs, isn't as strong overall, a very minor personal gripe.
It's amazing to me that this is the tenth studio album from these guys in their lucky thirteenth year and they have show no signs of slowing down. Even the albums that haven't quite hit the high standard they set for themselves still impressed. Party Time In The End Times has absolutely hit that high bar and then some. It's filled with great guitar riff, fat bass lines, a true punk attitude, and the macabre and dark imagery that we've come to expect. Overall it's hardly the end times for this band but it certainly is a party.
