The album kicks off with the song Captured a song I heard live a few months back, honestly I have to admit I like the live version better, the album version sounds a bit too clean or polished to me, that said it's still one of my favorite songs it's simply so catchy. The guitar riff that carries through the whole song has its own powerful voice. The clean vocals are executed perfectly and the screaming helps accent everything. The breakdown will have you chanting along after a few listens.
Creation Of Kronos has a bit of a funky fat groove through the verses until everything opens up in the chorus ripping into your earholes. This song probably has the heaviest breakdown on the album to the point where it could be mistaken for something more fitting for a deathcore track, I love it.
Battle To Lose Is which the band released a pretty action packed video for is my favorite song off the album. The screeching guitar riff is just so catchy and groovy. It's metalcore at its finest really.
This whole entire album sounds big. You get a real sense of the epic these guys are trying to weave, it's evident in the guitar work, it's clear from the powerful vocal work, and it's obvious in the lyrical content. If you find normal metalcore to be a bit boring and samey sounding, if you're looking for just a bit more theatrics in your metal, then check out End Transmission.
