The second track Do It Again picks up the energy and tempo, it's really got the feeling of a classic synth pop song. This is definitely a song to dance to whether you're by yourself or at a club. The pumping beat will really get you going. It's infectiously catchy and hard to ignore. Things are slowed down a bit for the final track called Three. It's a bit reminiscent of the new wave jazz influenced synth music of the early 90s. It's really a song to just let everything go a lose your mind to, it's definitely trippy, calming, and catchy all at the same time. It really transports you to another world.
Like I said if you're looking for good pop music turn off the radio right now. Sure occasionally a decent artist makes their way onto the airwaves but it's a very rare occurrence. I suggest you check out Cata Martinez's Three EP. It's short, back to the basics, dark synth pop. Each of these songs has a life of their own and yet work together seamlessly as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this EP to anyone who enjoys pop music in general but especially music with a darker edge to it.
