Playstation 4.5/4K

The rumors have been circulating for about a month now that the PS4 would not be getting a slim revision but rather an upgraded and more powerful version. Right now it's all but confirmed to be actually happening however what is actually happening is a little less known. Reports have suggested that it will be upgraded to play games at a native 4K resolution, others say it'll merely be upscaling to 4K and will have a main focus of performing better in VR. It's still a little whiles off so I figured I would dissect these rumors to see which ones hold any water.

Violence In VR Gaming: A New Frontier

In the early 2000's as a young high school student just getting into gaming, I wrote a paper pondering what gaming might be like in the future. How do we deal with violence in VR gaming?

Microsoft VS PC Gaming

I swear we all traveled back to 2007 when we entered 2016 and this just confirms it. Yet again Microsoft has committed itself to PC gaming by producing one of the best operating systems it's ever made, releasing Direct X 12 the biggest leap since Direct X 10 brought unified shaders, and bringing previously Xbox One only exclusives to the PC. Yet again their commitment has turned out to be just hollow words. I'm beginning to think Microsoft is doing this on purpose at this point. The launch of Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition is so bad you'd think the team that handled it was some three person outfit out of some country that hasn't even heard of broadband internet not a team backed by a billion dollar company. This disaster is just history repeating itself all over again.
